Jypka - These events and types of photography are always challenging! They are lit for the benefit of the audience and definitely not for the photographer. The musicians move around a lot, the lights change in brightness and colours continuously and you have to deal with wires and microphones, stands all that stuff - then there are the (usually) drunk crowd that you have to work around - you have to follow the music but it all was original music, you can only guess when they end, or which instruments will be played... And of course, the music really might not be your type, such as screaming thrash metal, but you have to photograph it all! As you can see from this gallery of mine, I have done many more before of this sort before. Thanks for asking!
