The idea was good in my opinion, but in practice you could not grasp the intention hoped:
in my view the subject doveveno be stylistically clearly focused instead you do not understand the linearity, however, appreciate the idea, you can rifarti :-D :-D

The photo is good, I find no significant criticism from you.
The composition of speech is entirely subjective, you took a 12-24 so do not think he had much chance in the choice.
If I had a canvas you could respect the rule of thirds (no rule is not) and be able to have a shot a little 'more poetic.
The result despite these trifles is great, even with the central subject so criticized!

Honestly I prefer the original. For me it is a successful minimal, if the figure on the boat was more definite would be even better. In this case the central subject does not bother me, on the contrary take the attention powerfully.

simple scene but I really like.
pero ... so the central subject is almost irritating ...
I would try a different composition.

Fiosco Hello, I like almost painterly style that you used on this picture. The two parties have moved consistently and the impact of the image in my view there is, I really like the background as just mentioned. I say on my crop, I would try square with boat and bird at opposite sides of the frame. Greetings

I can only thank you all. This picture was taken against the light, on Lake Constance in Germany in November. The light is natural, small adjustments in PP and unfortunately boat is not in perfect focus but reviewing this to the PC after a few months made me relive sister scene almost "dream" as someone wrote. That was probably a fisherman accompanied by a gull for several minutes the turned around as if to control it. Despite everything everyone deserves a guardian angel ;-)

Classic in part well done, too central subject was on third, insufficient clarity, the beautiful atmosphere and converting ...

This type of shots I like a lot, dream, minimal and in my view very effective. The fact that the boat contours are not clear to me is not a fault, indeed, you would have otherwise lost much of the atmosphere. The cut are fought: I also saw the release of Riccardo, focusing elements, he was able to give greater force to shoot. However I prefer it by covering so ... distracting and even approve of the choice of the central subject. The only thing I would improve is the pp ... too gray and seems to highlight the low quality of the shot instead of just making it a strong point.

The thing I like about this shot is that the bird looks in relief. It convinces me a little 'less than the boat whose shadow, very dark, mingles with the same boat and does not allow to distinguish the exact shape. Altogether it is a type of very distinctive and unusual photos.
