I welcome the decision to decentralize the subject in the frame so as to strengthen the narrative sense

Thank Dongiovanni for detailed comment and the nice words you wrote. The portrait is not a kind of picture that I practice a lot, just remember some shooting during the holidays (as in this case).
Thanks again.
Until next time.

There is very little to slaughter here, but to be appreciated; the 28mm has done very well his work (as long as the lens is handled by a capable person and you are certainly not the last arrived Andrea ;-)).
Your daughter and 'was very good, apart from the pose a little too rotated clockwise, gave you a serene expression and relaxed and quite natural, the definition is excellent, especially the details of the eyes that are beautiful, the diaphragm and 'excellent for a portrait with a fixed lens so' bright and also the blur behind I really like, even the convertible to poor color, what more could you want? the compliments at the end are inevitable and deserved :-): congratulations dear.
A hug, Claudio :-P

Wow! Wow!
What can you say after reading a similar comment ???
You leave me truly speechless !.
I am very pleased that you enjoyed the photo. The 28mm f1.8 was a great photo companion, which I really appreciated in the reduced format, but that has now taken other roads (given to a colleague, certainly is in good hands :-)).
As for my skills, I assure you, I'm not so good as you describe me.
Thank you again for your kind visit.
Good evening ... and Happy Holidays
Bye Bye.

It's a beautiful portrait, very clear and with an excellent conversion to B & W. . I also like the hair, a little messed up that give it an air of spontaneity.
For the rest, the 28mm is not the ideal target for set portraits, but you only had that; maybe you could choose a better background?
Congratulations also to Elisa who knew ... "Posare".
A greeting,
Romulus.

Hello Romulus and many thanks for the nice comment.
This photo is for me a memory of a nice holiday with my family in the Balearics.
This is an unprepared shot, I really liked the expression on my daughter's face, just as I found the soft lighting of the sunset sunlight pleasant. Background? ;-) Yes, it's not really being great beauty.
A dear greeting and, thanks again for the pleasant visit.
Bye Bye.

Andrew.
