What a pleasure to find you, Charles, dear friend as well as great artist.
Your comments to my photos are always a beauty and a thickness such as to leave me speechless.
I am very glad you liked this photo, Carlo, but most are happy for your unchanged esteem for me, estimates that as you know is absolutely reciprocated.
You tell me that you value much my portraits, and this honors me really, but you do not know what I'd like to reach your level of perfection in the attention to detail and getting little masterpieces where others do not see even a chance to do a photo ...

A heartfelt thanks, then, and a very warm welcome to you.

Thank you very much, Robert, for he appreciated not so much (or not only) the photo, as what I have tried to communicate with it.

A cordial greeting.

Jarmila Thanks for your appreciation for the photo and its meaning.
I believe that a picture should not be just a stylistic exercise, but should also communicate something more, whether the subject is taken up and, sometimes, about the author. I'm so glad to hear you say that in this case the message has arrived.

A greeting.
Sergio

Hello Paul, and many thanks to you for your visit and for your wonderful comments, that honors me.
I am very happy that you have been able to grasp the full meaning of this picture that, as I said in the caption, has no particular artistic or technical but I think instead be able to communicate the way of life of these populations, and in particular the way of living their deep faith.

Thanks again for what you wrote, and a cordial greeting to you.

Thanks for the visit, Adri, and for letting me this very welcome your testimony.
As I said, I think it was necessary to clearly explain the meaning of this picture, which has certainly not its strong point in the technique as in what he wants to testify.

A cordial greeting to you.

Thanks for the visit, Abayal, and especially thanks for letting me this very welcome your comments, which I always appreciate a lot.
I fully understand your concerns about the detail in this photo, are quite logical and even shared. I can only say that I, as a bit 'of time now, I love to highlight the devastating effects that a life of hardship almost always produces on the faces of these people. I understand that it is not "canon", but let's say that I find it much more realistic.

Thank you again for your appreciation and a friendly greeting.

The photo is very beautiful and I find absolutely extraordinary investigation on Ethiopia and its population that you propose as a reflection in the caption.

Instead you can always leave a mark ... the photos "wow" are the first to be forgotten. The photos that make you think, however, remain engraved in the memory.

There is a similar concept in the last film of Ben Stiller's "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" uttered by Sean Penn, who plays the role of a photographer of Life.
"Sometimes I do not shoot. If I like the time like me, only me. I do not like to have the distraction of the lens. I just want to stay there, inside. Keeping them here and now."
Among other things it is a wonderful film that I want to advise you.
