In origine erano presenti otto cappelle laterali, quattro a sinistra e quattro a destra.

You have represented very well the beauty of those lights that go up along the false columns and arches outline. I like a lot, Franco.
Happy New Year!

It 'very nice; beautiful representation of light and shadow that give charm and atmosphere of this magnificent religious monument.
At first glance it seemed to notice an excessive allocation of space to the square that away gaze towards the church pushing it a bit 'too close to the top edge of the frame, then, watching her best, I think it's just the effect that you asked , to cross the square to the eye of the visitor to admire the cornerstone of the picture which, in my humble opinion, perhaps deserved some mention of detail in the caption.
Greetings and Happy New Year Franco.

hello and thank Claudio for visiting and careful analysis-
I have a dozen shots that night. The pavement I observed more 'and more' times. Then I convinced myself it was okay so 'and with his dark side, but' still detailed, leading the eye towards the more 'light.
I accept the advice and I will add 'a caption to the photo
hello and good year;-)
