Ecco le domande che bisogna porsi, oltre ad altre per concepire la foto.. Diciamo che di positivo c'è la ricercatezza del gioco di geometrie, però a mio avviso solo riuscita in parte a causa dei difetti già detti da altri e una mancanza di post produzione adeguata.

Questa è solo un'immagine di composizione di linee e curve, si tratta appunto come tu ben dici di una" ricercatezza del gioco di geometrie" e dunque lo scatto non ha assolutamente alcuna velleità di trasmettere qualcosa a livello emozionalmente così come spero facciano altri miei scatti di altro genere.
Un po' difficile sebbene, per carità, non astrattamente impossibile che cerchi, ruote e rastrelliere suscino "emozioni"....
Come ben sai, uno scatto riconducibile ad uno still life per sua stessa natura non deve necessariamente colpire a livello emotivo ma può anche solo apparire esteticamente/compositivamente piacevole.
Sempre se piace ovvio!!!
I difetti tecnici li ho già evidenziati anch'io ma, attenzione, in realtà non sono come dici tu di PP.
L'errore (non correggibile in modo soddisfacente), se osservi bene l'immagine, è nell'originaria MAF del cerchione.
Dico anch'io peccato ma "mi piaceva" sufficientemente per postarla.
