Now, Ann, you've made me feel guilty! I didn't say I didn't like it, now did I and now you've removed the chance for others to do so.

The beauty of having an almost limitless space here (for us both) means that it doesn't matter if it doesn't hit the right buttons. Take my homeless food searcher the other day - did that put me off? True, I wanted to keep it as I think it makes a pertinent point about modern London and thus should be in a gallery about London, warts and all.

What about those unfortunate folk who have never seen a pheasant before and would have gasped in delight and amazement? You have stripped their chance, now!! You have taken away their human rights! lol

And again being honest, I do think a more imaginative title shows more effort - and more confidence in what you are posting for all to see. 'Pheasant in young ferns' would have been so much better...

There is no need to feel guilty, Tim! I trust you to say what you think! As I said last week, I'm feeling a bit despondent about my photography at the moment. I'm not really overly happy with much that I am producing (nor, indeed, past photos) but in view of focussing on the positive, I'm sure that a holiday will provide fresh inspiration!

The partridge said nothing pertinent to anything and is best gone, as I wasn't even sure I liked it myself!

Last camera club of the season, so AGM and nibbles.

Identity crisis, from a pheasant to a partridge!

You don't have to post up everyday, you know, most, it seems, don't.

How about some of the Weymouth ones? You took a load and I'd like to see what your interpretations of what we saw, were?

AGM = boredom but from what I recall, some finality from the season and a goodwill message to go forth and photograph!

Yes, the weather - and semi return to winter hasn't helped - no doubt sunnier warmer Spain will help you.

And, I'm getting rather fractious about the still lack of delivery of my new lens. It would have been ideal for the night shots in London - an f2.8 aperture plus stabilisation. So, that might have rubbed off on my attitudes and thoughts earlier on.

Thanks, Tim, for your helpful suggestions :) I don't know what's got into me at the moment - it's most uncharacteristic - I'm sorry!

The AGM was better than I expected - they didn't linger longer than necessary on the formalities. And I did manage a while at the end of the afternoon in windy weather to blow the cobwebs away a bit.

I hope your lens arrives soon - that must be very frustrating!
