Brian, YES, this is the one I was talking about earlier. Thanks for bringing it back. This is a great action shot! So typical of what I often seeing when crows pester Osprey. It has wonderful expression, fine detail, and great lighting highlighting the encounter. In my opinion, it was caught at the perfect moment to document the behavior in a dramatic fashion. I have tried many times and know that this is a difficult capture to get. Well done Brian. I like it a lot. Wally |

Thanks Wally, I appreciate the detailed feedback/appreciated from the Osprey King : ) So why the reason for posting Ospreys lately? I met another photographer who told me about an Osprey nest about 15 minutes from my house. Took a bit of searching as it it is down a back road few people would naturally go to. The advantage is they like to fly from the nest to nice perches nearby and the subjects are usually front lit. Other raptors in the area as well. Happy days! Brian |

I had no doubt that it was the raven to attack, typical behavior of corvids, especially if nearby there is the nest of raptors, great shot and document Brian, congratulations! ;-) Non avevo dubbi che fosse stato il corvo ad attaccare, tipico comportamento dei corvidi, sopratutto se nelle vicinanze c'è il nido dei rapaci, ottimo scatto e documento Brian, complimenti ! |
