Subjects : Some Mammals such as Howler Monkeys, squirrels and Coati Mundi. Reptiles such as snakes and lizards. Also butterflys and Frogs. Many species of bird including:Trogons, Hummingbirds, Sparrows, Raptors such as hawks, Kingfishers, Tanagers, Motmots, Toucans, Parrots, Herons and Egrets, Ducks, Wading birds.

Recommended equipment : Minimum Prosumer DSLR, Teleconverters, Flash as Jungle/Forest can be dark. Extra batteries and Memory cards, Tripod/Monopod.

Best months : Best months are between end of Decemeber and April as this is the dry season

How to get there : Take you flight Panama City. You can take day or half day tours from City Hotels. I can highly recommend WhiteHawk birding tours as they not only have great guides and are well organised they are heavily involved in conservation in Central America. There are also some hotels in Gamboa itself.

Visits : The visit is free apart for cost of tours
