Subjects : The Dead Sea, also called the Salt Sea, is a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel and the Palestinian Territories to the west. Its surface and shores are 429 metres (1,407 ft) below sea level, Earth's lowest elevation on land. The Dead Sea is 304 m (997 ft) deep, the deepest hypersaline lake in the world. With 34.2% salinity (in 2011), it is also one of the world's saltiest bodies of water.

Recommended equipment : Good Dslr - preferebly FF, wide angle lenses, tripod,

Best months : Best Months to take pictures are in the Spring, Winter or Autumn. In the summer temperatures can easily reches 45 C with 80% umidity. not a good conditions for the camera nor for photographer.

How to get there : The area does not have many habitants. Mainly big Phosphats factory in the south and a group of several hotels in the center. Best to travel by car. A bus is also possible but less convinient. No train.

Visits : The area is free to visit all around.
