Subjects :The Capuchin convent of Sintra is a small structure that stands out for its labyrinthine interior, made up of many tiny rooms, doors covered with cork and colored walls. The interiors offer good photo opportunities, while the exteriors, after restoration, are uninteresting (in the past it was covered with moss and vegetation that made it very picturesque).
Recommended equipment :Wide angle or fisheye, and possibly standard zoom for details; tripod.
Best months :All year round.
How to get there :The convent can be reached from the N247-3 road; there is a parking lot dedicated to visitors. You can then visit it in 1-2 hours.
Visits :Paid visit, not guided; the entrance costs 7 euros. On the official website you will find updated schedules and costs.
