Subjects : Lot's of birds during winter and summer. Best months are april till september because of summer light. Also a very nice area for landscape photography or very small old villages (Dutch windmills). It's close to the Northsea and for people who like to photograph vessels it's also interesting, many huge vessels passing by on their way to Port of Antwerp.

Recommended equipment : Perfect lenses are fast zooms of 70-200mm, or fixed focal lengths exceeding 300mm. Bring a fast camera that gives good results at higher ISO, because shooting sometimes happens with high speed action in low light condition. For landscape photography you will need wideangle lenses (12 till 70mm) and a sturdy tripod.

Best months : from januari till december but best are may till august

How to get there : by car or bicycle because public transport is not offered overhere. You can rent a car or bike in a nearby village.

Visits : Visit is free. Some parts are not allowed to enter by law.

Notes : bring along some weather sealed clothes which can be made very dirty.
